Medium Span Shelves, also known as Hi280 Long Span shelving, provide an optimum storage solution for larger, bulkier or heavier items where multiple locations exist to pick or retrieve products from. These Medium Span Shelves are designed to withstand different types of demanding storage environments while continuing to provide strength and flexibility, as well as being easily accessible to the product stored on them.
Constructed from the same assembly process/kit as the Hi280 Standard Shelves (and like all of our products), these Medium Span Shelves can easily be installed and modified for both static and mobile applications. They are particularly well-suited for the automotive industry due to the durability of their design and their flexibility of application and organisation when storing automotive parts.
Another benefit provided by the Hi280 system is its compatibility with Standard Hi280 shelving. They can be easily combined to form customised storage solutions that can adapt quickly as the operation grows and evolves. The brace-free design of the shelves also extends the depth available to store goods, thus providing greater capacity without sacrificing stability.
The Hi280 Medium Span Shelves are built entirely from high-quality, pre-galvanised steel. These shelves are designed to yield the same consistent performance, durability and efficiency results regardless of how they are assembled or installed and are constructed using a very limited number of parts/components.
